We'll be traveling by motorcycle in the area over the coming week--any recommendations? We can't really do rough dirt roads on the bike.

Will you be going as far North as I-70? If so, there's Mystic hot springs www.mystichotsprings.com/ and Meadow.

I went there once and was disappointed-- there's a lot of dark flowstone around the various pools but the water seemed to be saturated with iron and wasn't very pleasant to look at plus it had a strange feel to it, the opposite of the slippery feel associated with alkalai. If you ran your hand along your skin it didn't want to slide. I've never felt water like that before and hope to never again. Not recommended.
There was a spring in the guidebooks near the town of Meadow which is free. It's a small hole in a meadow very very deep with crystal clear warm water which was delightful. Go there instead.

Meadow is a beautiful spring. there's no shade so days in the summer can be too hot.

I've been to Mystic numerous times and always enjoyed it. I, and many, many friends go there often. Sometimes they have fantastic concerts. My only disappointment is that I wish the swimming pool was fixed.
