Re: Joshua Tree hot springs recommendations ? travel / camping tips?
Wed, April 23, 2008 - 10:22 PMI personally love Saline Valley Hot Springs. I used to call it "Palm Springs". Google for directions because my memory doesn't serve me like it used to. I just remember cruising south from Mono and taking a left around Bishop. One hello of a road so don't take a hoopty kind of car. take a reliable vehicle with some ground clearance or a 4X4 like we did. =-) Good luck.

Re: Joshua Tree hot springs recommendations ? travel / camping tips?
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 8:29 AMMono Is way north up HWY 395, no where near Joshua Tree National Monument And Deep Creek Is Up in the San Bernardino Mtn's, Also Not very close to Joshua Tree. I do Know that Barker Dam (A Pond) is in Joshua Tree, Wouldn't recommend swimming there though!
