I'm going to be driving Highway 101 between berkeley and Ventura this week. is the hot springs jsut before t4h Gaviota Pass still open? haven;t been there in eyars and I know that there was a huge boulder over the old way in...

would anyone like to go there with me if it IS open? I'm visiting my poarents in Ventura WEdnesday thorugh maybe Saturday or SUnday, might go into LA, have looked into checking out Deep Creek.

might even go back to the Los Padres Big and Little Calientes in the Los Pades national Forest, gabenp;t been there in 10 years eitehr..anyone up for a hike that also involves driving on dirt road? is there an updte on those?
