N. CA, OR, WA road trip

Friends
We're about to leave on a month-long trip through N. California, into western OR and WA then back south and are looking for info on some great hot springs along our route. Unfortunately we really don't know what our route is yet, but that's where your help may come in! So far we're starting at the High Sierra Music Fest in Quincy, CA, then visiting friends near Ashland on our way to Eugene and the Country Fair, then maybe Bend, more friends at Hood River, then things get more sketchy as we go north somewhere into WA for more hiking and rock climbing.
We know there's quite a few springs along our way. Any recommendations? We'll be driving in a small RV, so can't handle any rough roads.

Thanks!!

There are several spots that you want to check out here in Oregon. Cougar Hot Springs is about 45 minutes out of Eugene near the McKenzie River. In fact, this is one of the scenic highways that runs from Eugene to Bend, so it fits perfectly into your trip plans. These springs are of a rustic nature, but draw pretty big crowds this time of year, so be prepared for this. The nearby resevoir makes for a great swimming hole as well.

If the weather is warm while in Eugene, you may want to check out one of the popular skinnydipping spots in the area. Nudie Rock is on the McKenzie River, and Glassbar Island is just south of town on the Coast Fork of the Wilamette River. Both spots are great for sunning, swimming, and connecting with nature. Although their aren't any

Bagby Hot Springs and Breitenbush are among my favorites and are in the Cascade Mountains between Salem and Portland. Bagby is rustic and requires a hike in. Breitenbush is a private resort and requires reservations, but is well worth the expense.

Oh and one more thing. Make sure to get your tickets to the Oregon Country Fair ahead of time. It often sells out before the day of the event.

If you are going to Cougar don't bring any herb! The feds bring drug dogs to the springs parking lot to sniff out the cars and pass out tickets. If theres a time for police to fuck with you its going to be around OCF time. I have mixed feeling about this hot spring because of the federal drug dogs, it being closed at night and to camping, the abundant vandelizm, and you have to pay. But if you pay, are there during the day, and don't have any herb, its a great hot spring.
